It has now been two months since GA and we are looking to get some momentum going with the women of YFC!

We have created a new secret group on Facebook and we have been adding people as we hear of interest and input addresses.  If you would like to join us, please write us at hats@yfci.org and we will send you an invitation to join the group.

There are challenges to communicating in any family – different personalities, different gifts sets, different languages, different love languages.  We ask for your patience as we find our way forward in communicating together.  We want this to be a safe place to share.  We don’t want it to be labour intensive, but rather full of blessings for you.

To start with, we thought that we would pick a theme for each month and ask you to post contributions surrounding that theme – a photo, a verse, a poem, a prayer. . .Then on the first Monday of each month we would ask you to join us for the YFC International Day of Prayer and Fasting.  As we start to interact, pray through the posts, pray through the countries where YFC is represented, pray for the challenges and joys.  For this month of December we would like to celebrate the birth of Christ and encourage you to share your favourite traditions, photos, and thoughts around the advent season.

We would also like to hear your ideas for connecting from your context.  We realize that time is a premium wherever we are but if you want to share your gifts with YFC women around the world in 2015, please let us know how you would like to be involved – writing, translating, intercession, counselling, photography, artwork, recipes, cultural understanding, web administration, etc.
